The new tv serial Gangaa is produced by Sphere Origins. The character “Gangaa” has been played by the small girl Ruhana Khanna who has already made her way into the viewers’ hearts with her innocence and enthusiasm.
The television channel “&TV (AndTV)” has started a new daily soap and drama “Gangaa” which has been already broadcasting worldwide on &tv.
The show has been started on 2nd March 2015 and timing of the show is Monday to Friday at 08:30pm- 9:00pm IST and 8:00pm in the United Kingdom. This is one of the most popular shows on &tv after its other hit comedy show “Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai!”.

Story/ Plot:
The story of the show revolves around the small girl whose name is “Ganga”. She has been married at very small age but she lost her husband at very young age. His father and husband died in the riots which were held near the bank of river Ganga.
The show portrays her fight and struggle against the unwanted restrictions put on her to live her life as a widow. She desires to live happily, study in school and fight against the society to remove the restrictions on a life of a widow.
Earlier, the producers and directors of the show have decided to telecast the story of Gangaa as a child only for three months but the show gains the popularity with “Ruhana” playing the role of Gangaa.
So, they decided to continue with the same plot with younger Gangaa till December.
Now, &TV serial Gangaa is all set to take the generation leap and will up come up with new plot/ story. The lead Ganga serial cast “Ruhana Khanna” in the title role of Gangaa and “Swar Hingonia” in the role of Sagar will be replaced by Aditi Sharma and Vishal Vashishtha respectively.
The tv actress has been seen earlier in the comedy movie “Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami” whereas Vishal Vashishtha, the male actor was seen in the star plus serial “Veera”.
