The ICC T20 World Cup 2016 will be going to start from 8th March 2016 and will come to its end on 3rd April 2016. It will be the 6th time that the teams from all over the world will fight to win the shortest version of game of cricket. The 16 teams have been able to qualify for this tournament which includes eight full members and six associate members. These six associate members are the teams who had been qualified through the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier 2015 tournament which was played in Ireland and Scotland in the month of July earlier.

The rights to host the world cup has been awarded to India by International Cricket Council.The India will completely host the upcoming t20 world cup 2016 ICC tournament. This is the first time that the India has been hosting this mega ICC Cricket tournament without any collaboration with any other country. The tournament has been divided into two rounds i.e. first and second. In the first round, the associate member teams will play with each other to qualify for second round where they will get a chance to play with full members.

For the first round, the associate teams has been divided into two separate groups i.e Group A and Group B. Each group will consists of four teams. Bangladesh and Zimbabwe are the experienced teams in both the groups respectively who have played lot of international matches.Both the teams have good chances to move to second round but the Ireland and Netherlands would definitely try to restrict them with their good cricket to move into the second rounds. we have mentioned below the teams in both the groups:

The winners from both the groups of associate teams will move to second round where they have to play against the full members. So, there will be total of ten teams in the second round which will be further divided into Group A and Group B. These ten teams will be divided into two groups each containing five teams each.

Important Note: There has been announcement from Board of Control for Cricket in India that of Pakistan will be able to qualify for the semifinals then the semi final match will be hosted by Delhi instead of Mumbai on 30th march.

There will be a tough fight among the teams in the Group B in the second round matches as the teams like India, Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan will not going to easily surrender against each other. All the teams in this group can be considered as the strong contenders for the T20 World Cup 2016 title. No one can predict that who will be going to win on that given day as any team can beat each other. Having good experience of playing in IPL T20 tournament earlier both India and Australia have bright chances to win the world cup title. But we cannot ignore Pakistan as they have good bowling attack which they had show in the last 50-50 over world cup. The fans will be able to watch the thrilling contest between the two at Dharmasala, Himachal Pradesh on 19th March. Last time both the teams had met in the last world cup in Australia. In the Group B. the Sri Lanka,West Indies and South Africa are teams who can never let you relax in any match with their enthralling cricket skills.
