IGNOU Term End Examination- Master Degree, Bachelor Degree, Diploma, Certificate

ignou term end examination, ignou term end exam eligibility, ignou tee eligibility, ignou june term end examination, ignou december term end examination: The Indira Gandhi National Open University conducts the Term-end Examinations for its various programmes such Master Degree, Bachelor Degree, Diploma, and Certificate twice in a year i.e in the month of June and December. It is the major component of the evaluation system i.e. it carries 70% weightage in the final result.The tutor marked assignments constitutes the remaining 30% weightage of the total marks. To complete any course, the students need to achieve 40% marks in both Term End Theory examination and Tutor Marked Assignments which they will submit at their respective study centres. The students need to submit the IGNOU Solved assignments before submitting the Term End Examination Form.

The IGNOU conducts the term end examination in the month of June and December for various courses such as BDP, Bachelor of Arts(BA), Bachelor od Science(B.Sc.), Master of Arts(MA), Master of Science(M.Sc.), Bachelor of Education(B.Ed), Master of Education(M.Ed,) Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Business Administration(BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), Master of Commerce(M.Com.), Bachelor of Computer Applications(BCA), Master of Computer Applications(MCA), MA in Distance Education (MADE), MA(History)(MAH), MAEDS, MAPC, MAJMC, MAPY, MARD, MEG, MEC, MED, MHA, MHD, MLS, MPA, M.Phil, MPS, MSO, MSW, M.Tech, MTM, M.Phil, Ph.D, Diploma, Certificate, etc.

There are few IGNOU Programmes in which the university follows the year system approaach. For these disciplines, the students can appear only after completion of one year i.e. the students who take admission in January academic cycle can appear in examination only in the month of December whereas the students admitted in July session can appear in next year June Term End Examination. The programmes in which the university follows the semester system approach, the students can appear in the examination which will take place in next six months i.e the student who takes admission in January session can appear in exam in June examination. In the same way, the students who take admission in July session can appear in December TEE. In case, if you fail in any course exam, then you can reappear in the next Term-end Examination irrespective of admission cycle. But they can reappear in the term end examination only within the total span of the programme.

Eligibility to appear in IGNOU Term-End Examination: There are certain conditions which the students must follow to become eligible to appear in the examination. These are as follows:

  • The students must have registered themselves for that year by filling up the registration form and paying the required fee.
  • The course you have chosen to appear in examination must be prescribed in the programme syllabus.
  • The students must have submitted the IGNOU Solved assignments for the respective course to their study centres before filling up the exam form.
  • They must have submitted the Term-End examination form with a fee of Rs. 60 per course within the last date of submission date.

IGNOU Examination Form: To appear in term-end examination for any IGNOU Course, it is necessary to submit the examination form. The IGNOU exam form can be obtained from the Study Centres/Regional Centres/Student Registration and Evaluation Division at Headquarters. Also, you can download the exam form from university official website at www.ignou.ac.in. It should be noted that only one form has to be submitted for all the courses for which you one to appear in the upcoming term-end examination. The examination fee for each course is Rs. 60/- which has to be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘IGNOU’ and payable at city of your Regional Centre along with the application form.

IGNOU Examination Date Sheet: The university publish the exam schedule for all the courses in the form of IGNOU Date Sheet which consists of date and time of examination for each course. The university made this date sheet available in Study Centres and on the official website approximately 2-3 months in advance.
