nou 9th convocation 2015, nalanda open university convocation 2015: The Nalanda Open University conducted its 9th convocation on 13th December, 2015 in the S.K Memorial Hall. During the 9th NOU convocation, the students who have completed their degree in the year 2014 has been awarded with their degree certificate.
Earlier, the number of students who had appeared in the examination held in the year 2014 were 19,712. Out of which 10, 917 were able to complete their courses on time. Around 1102 students had appeared in the convocation to receive the degree certificate. In the NOU 9th convocation 2015, 28 students had been awarded with gold medal as well.
The governor of state, Ram Nath Kovind were the chairman for the convocation where as IGNOU patriarch, Professor Nageshwar Rao Vishist was the chief guest for the occasion. The chairman, Ram Nath Kovind said that the implementation of examination under the CCTV surveillance, publishing the result on time, arrangement of convocation are worth to be appreciated.
