Dravidian University admission 2015-16, Dravidian University DDE Admission Notification for UG / PG Courses, Dravidian University Distance Education Admission 2016, Dravidian University distance education courses: The Dravidian University, Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh Directorate of distance education (DDE) has invited applications from all the eligible students for admission to its various courses under Regular UG and PG courses and Open University System (OUS) UG courses for the academic year 2015-16.
1) Open University System (OUS) Under Graduate Courses: BA/ B.Com (General)
Admission Eligibility: The students applying for admission should be 18 years of the age as on 01/01/2016 and they should be passed in eligibility test of 10+2 standard.
2) Regular System:
a) Under Graduate Courses:
- BA (History/Economics/ Political Science/Public Administration/Sociology/ Mathematics/Telugu Literature/ English Literature/ Kannada Literature)
- B.Com (General & Computers)
- B.Sc. (Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/Botany/ Zoology/Physics/ Chemistry)
- BCA/ BBA
Admission Eligibility: The candidate applying for admission to these above mentioned courses should be Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent.
b) Post Graduate Courses:
- MA (Telugu/ English/ Kannada/Economics/ Political Science/Public Administration/Sociology/ Social Work/ Hindi)
- M.Sc. (Mathematics/ Psychology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Physics/ Chemistry)
- M.Com, MBA, MCA, B.Lib.l.Sc. (One Year), M.Lib.l.Sc. (One Year), MCJ
Admission Eligibility: The candidate applying for admission to above mentioned Post Graduate courses should be Graduate degree in concerned subjects.
c) Diploma Courses:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA)
For all the above mentioned courses the theory paper constitute 70 marks and Assignment submissions is of 30 marks. It is to be noted that Internal Assessments i.e assignment submission is applicable only for Post Graduate courses.

- Date of Issue of Applications: 25th Jan, 2016
- Last Date for receipt of filled in Applications: 24th March, 2016
- Last Date for receipt of application with late fee of Rs.200/-: 11th April, 2016
The interested and eligible students can download the application form from the university official website at www.dravidianuniversity.ac.in. They can also obtained the admission application from the university study centres or from the office of Directorate of Distance Education(DDE). The students need to submit the registration fee of Rs. 350/-for the application in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Director, DDE, payable at Kuppam, Chittoor Dist., Andhra Pradesh.
Dravidian University Eligibility Test for Admisison to UG Courses 2015-16:
The university will conduct the eligibility test for admission to Under Graduate (UG) courses i.e. BA & B.Com General for the students who do not have any formal education. The examination will be conducted on 13th March, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The candidates are requested to contact the study centers where they wanted to register themselves. The cost of application form for eligibility entrance test is Rs.350/- which should be paid in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of Registrar, Dravidian University, payable at Kuppam, Chittoor Dist., Andhra Pradesh. The last date of submission of application form for eligibility test: 5th March, 2016. The candidates can also directly register with the University.
