For Ph.D., the aspirant must have to satisfy any of the following eligibility criteria.
- A Master’s degree or equivalent in the relevant subject with 55% marks or equivalent CGPA / 50% in case of Medical Courses, from any University which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in India. (SC / ST candidates are given a relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent CGPA).
- In a case the aspirant is holding a qualifying degree from a foreign university, registration (for Ph.D.) will be confirmed after determination of equivalence by the Parul University.
- Qualifying degree should be recognised by the UGC / AIU / Central Council of Indian Medicine / Central Council of Homoeopathy / Indian Nursing Council / Council of Architecture / Pharmacy Council of India / All India Council for Technical Education or other approved & recognized Scientific Bodies of the Government & approved by the Academic Council / Board of Management of this University for Provisional Registration for the Ph.D. programme.
- Aspirants who have obtained their degree through correspondence course are not eligible.
